Configure VMWare Private Repository

Recently Broadcom by VMWare has done the VMWare Repository Changes from Public Repository to Private Repository. So, who ever no do any subscriptions of the VMWare Products, you will not able to update. To the viewer who still an active license subscription. Refer to the article provided by Broadcom about how to generate the download token key to create manually at their URL Repository.

Once you have generated the download token key, you need to safe keep for the copy to edit the URL link provided. Below is the example of the token key.

For the vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface (VAMI) follow the Broadcom Support link as shared below

After all this configuration you can able to do the Update. Remember once you have done the update go back to the Configuration and change the VAMI-Version like example from 8.0.3.00400 to 8.0.3.00500 at the URL. You have done the VAMI update.
